Sedation dentistry

For many people, dental appointments can bring anxiety, tension, or difficulty staying comfortable. Sedation options help create a calmer experience by easing both physical and emotional strain. Each method supports a different level of relaxation, allowing you to move through treatment at a pace that feels manageable and predictable.

We explain every option clearly, review your medical history, and recommend the safest, most appropriate approach based on your needs and the treatment being planned.

Your sedation options

Nitrous oxide: A light, steady form of relaxation delivered through a soft nose mask. It helps ease anxiety while keeping you awake and aware.

Oral sedation: A prescribed medication taken before your appointment to create deeper relaxation. You remain responsive but feel calm and less focused on the procedure.

General anesthesia: A fully asleep, hospital-based option recommended for certain surgical or complex cases. Care is provided with a medical anesthesia team for complete safety.
